Former LSU quarterback Danny Etling is expected to be hired as Washington's assistant quarterback coach, according to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.

Etling played at LSU from 2015 to 2017 and professionally from 2018 to 2025 with multiple teams.

This will be his first coaching job in the NFL.

Danny was so underappreciated. Wasn't the greatest QB but he did enough to get the job done. Happy for him.

Yeah, they did him dirty when JJ came back from injury. He was playing well at the time.

He was legitimately the best QB we’d had in years at the time ! I remember being pumped watching his Purdue highlights. Best wishes on the new start !

Thats's so awesome for him! He'll always be remembered here...He stepped up when he was needed the most at LSU and helped save our season(s).
