I started to watch F1 racing.
This NIL crap is tiring
As of 11/14, he ain’t coming. Fact.
It’s fact. Not a rumor or inuendo.
Obviously, he’s changed his mind before, but as today, it’s a ‘no’.
As of today, It will Not be Saban - from his side.

Not sure why LSU fans are so excited about landing a 74 year-old coach. He'd be gone in a few years and we'd be in the same predicament all over again

Dunno. Maybe because the program was a heck of lot better when Les took over?
Imagine Les coming in after, let's say, Dinardo. Think he would have had the same success?

We've got some rebuilding of character/attitude/culture to do around here. Few are better in changing that in a positive way than Saban.

This should be stickied.

You should be banned for blatantly lying.

National guys all said Verge is respected by coaches & agents.

Verge has never led a significant athletic decision for LSU.

He’s an awesome 2nd man, deputy, assistant. Period.

Don’t know, but that wasn’t the question.
Kelly couldn’t put it all together: O, D and ST. That doesn’t mean several components aren’t good.
Keep:
- Baker
- Raymond
- Wilson
- Peoples
- Williams

IMO, have to let go:
- Davis
- Hankton
- Flint (S&C)

So, if your 1st target was in the 4th quarter and it was 3rd down - It's normal to drop that ball? We were still in the damn game right there.

Sure enough, but that’s what I’m saying.
You/I as fans want him to make that catch, but they’re cold - no targets to that point in the game and you go to them then? Pfft.

His 1st target was in the 4th qtr., 3rd and 8, deep inside your own territory.

Not an ideal situation.

FIFY

Neither can consistently catch a cold.

Just a microcosm. There is no accountability in our culture.

Drake Davis beat the shite out of that girl and Verge tried his hardest to just sweep it under the rug.

He's a career deputy, a 'Yes' man. Higher-ups told him to keep the news quiet, and he did. Later the higher-ups told him needed to take one for the team and fall on his sword - and he did.

Personally, he's not a bad guy. People who work with him like him a lot. However, he's a puppet. He's not the person we need to lead LSU's athletic department.

Just because you’re a good deputy doesn’t mean you’d make a good sheriff…

Verge is a career deputy.

Athletic director doesn’t mean shite

Your obviously ill-equipped opinion doesn’t either.
A solid AD means everything to successful head coaches.

Go read some interviews from NC winning coaches and let us know how many don’t mention how important their AD was to their success.

Perkins is good at one thing. "See ball, get ball" but thats not a position in college or NFL.

This 100%.
Other skills in the toolbox are modest.

Not just because he's an LSU guy. Go listen to what people say about him as a coach and as a leader of young men. Sheppard is a rising star.

People - including former LSU players, said the same thing about House…and that was only a coordinator position. HC is another ballgame.

It’s a higher than normal risk.

If healthy, the LSU defense matches up very well with Alabama’s offense.

Beautifully stated.
Watch for Perkins in this one...he's had a HORRIBLE 2-game run and is gonna eat.
