Five-star LSU quarterback commitment Bryce Underwood landed a new future teammate on Wednesday, with five-star cornerback DJ Pickett giving his verbal pledge to the Tigers.

Pickett, the country's No. 1 cornerback, is LSU's 17 commitment for the class of 2025 and the third five-star player for the Tigers.

Following Pickett's commitment on Wednesday, Underwood gave him a shoutout on social media:

The attachment that Underwood has shown LSU is intense. The kid has taken zero visits anywhere and communicates with no other schools.

Do you really believe that or do you just believe the financial consideration LSU offered is significant enough to cause this?

Underwood loves LSU as if he were from Louisiana, and grew up around multiple generations of relatives that were LSU graduates. I can’t wait for this kid to come to BR and put on a show.

Just like in 2019 the offense will be nearly unstoppable under Bryce, we won't have to be perfect on defense, even though I believe the 2019 Defense was underrated especially at the end of the year, the Defense will just need to be top 25-30 to win a national championship....we added some DL and DB talent in last class and this guy and Antoine will go a LONG WAY to getting the pieces in place for a run with Underwood

Kid reminds me of a better version of Jaylen Collins. That guy was good and had a good NFL career
