During Wednesday's SEC Coaches Teleconference, LSU head coach Ed Orgeron was asked about whether or not he regrets playing Derrius Guice vs. Syracuse last week.
Guice was originally ruled out for Syracuse game with an injury but team doctors and trainers cleared him to play. He ended up starting last Saturday but may have tweaked his injury as his status for the Troy game is listed as "questionable."

"No, we wanted to play him," Orgeron said. "Obviously, Derrius is a competitor and we thought that he was ready to play. I made those decisions when I listened to the trainers and the doctors and they said he was ready to go so we played him."
