LSU defensive line coach Bo Davis was in Texas on Wednesday and visited with three-star defensive lineman Xavier Ukponu.

Ukponu, a 6-3, 290-pound lineman from Denton, Texas (Guyer), received his offer from Davis earlier this month. He holds offers from Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Oregon, and many other schools.

Trying to get that first commit to start the momentum for the Tigers! Yeah if Bo Davis is coming after you, you’re legit. That’s what I love about a bonafide position coach with a history like Davis has, you don’t have question the players they target and get. You already know, this guy knows exactly what he’s doing.
