Matt Womack, a three-star offensive tackle who committed to LSU back in July, announced Sunday that he has decommitted from the Tigers and is now headed to Alabama.

The 6-foot-7, 320-pound prospect announced the news following his visit to Alabama this past weekend.

I predict he will become a five star in the near future.

If he was gonna bolt, I am glad that he did it now and not on signing day...

Why do we still call these things "commitments"?

Too bad, was looking forward to him going to Baton Rouge. Wish him luck but he should know he is now a gump, forever and always..

3 star lineman from Mississippi. Not upset. Hope he does well. Does seem fishy though that Bama's line is younger and ours is older.

He will likely wind up being an all star and have his four biggest games against LSU and it will be mentioned ad infinitem on every tv broadcast to add insult to injury that he was an LSU decommitt.

Now that he has committed to Bama, he will now become a 4 or 5 star

Seems he is easily influenced and easily controlled. He will do well there.

He's just wanting to get those 3 stars raised. He's going to wait until Signing Day and flip back to us as the top OL in the country.

he looks like the missing link. i'd say that to his face. And then run (or drive) away.
