When i saw Charlie tear up after Trump's win last year, I knew this guy was the real deal.
I technically am a Boomer, 65, and know no one who thinks or acts like those guys. The ones I know are mostly very conservative, hard working, family-oriented, and fiscally responsible.

Social Security is a pre-tax deduction so no, you haven't already paid taxes on it

My LES disagrees with this. Gross income and SS taxable income show the exact same numbers.
I have a 2000 Ford Ranger with manual windows. 17 y/o (no pics) got in and asked "what's this for?" pointing at the handles. Couldn't help but laugh.
Driving home from a large family vacation in Destin. Glad that's over with.
I'm here in Butte. 42 right now, snow in the mountains, 32 in the morning. And it is past the summer solstice. Unbelievable.
3y 4m, married 42 years. Still have a crush on her.
One of the bases there, either AFSOUTH or NSA had built a really nice recreation area inside of one of the smaller volcanic cones back in the 70s called Carney Park I think. We would play tackle football there. Good times. I was last there in 1981. Not sure if it is still there.
Sir, you and your daughter are in our prayers. I can only imagine your plight. I am an RN and I want to say something that you may want to research as well. The docs are gonna push chemo, radiation, medication, etc on you. Very few ever mention diet or alternatives. Please look into going to a low carb, i.e. strict keto or carnivore diet. Cancer feeds on glucose and glutamine, these cut out all glucose and your body starts using ketones instead. Glutamine can be controlled by using a hypobaric chamber as most glutamine is made by your body. Thus no fuel, cancer dies or stops growing. I'm not gonna harp anymore into this but please give it a look. With that said, prayers have been sent and I know the good people on this board are praying as well. God speed and we all pray for a full recovery for both of you.

I was stationed on a nuke carrier. We took on Jet fuel in every unrep. What do you think is flowing through those hoses?

Damn. You are correct. These eyes ain't what they used to be. Yep, that's a tanker not a supply ship. And no choppers flying. Had to blow that pic up to see it. I was on JFK back in the 70s. And yes we did take on some fuel during unreps iirc. Think I'll shut up and slide back in my hole.
That picture is of an unrep, not a refuel. That carrier is a nuke. The last conventional was CV-67, the JFK, which is now being turned into razor blades in Brownsville, Tx.

My dad told me it was bad luck to not pick it up, no matter heads or tails. So if my hands are free I get it.

Why don’t you load up and go with them. You seem to like the idea of a Socialist regime. I would be happy to make some phone calls to assist in getting you a one way ticket.

I'll split the ticket with you to expedite the process.

re: Kidney Transplants, Anyone?

My wife gave a kidney 10 years ago. She did very well almost immediately. The guy who got it also did well, although they both were sore for a while. He is in his 50s, back to work and down to just a few anti-rejection drugs. If you didn't know, you never would.

re: Best and Worst Airports in US

Worst. Not sure, there are many. But the smallest I've seen is Hattiesburg. Waiting area the size of my living room. There is a sign that says "Gate 1". There is no Gate 2. Took 45 minutes to get 14 people through checkpoint. Food court is a gumball machine. Three flights a day. But, parking is free.
West High Blue Devils was the "black" school in Jackson. They consolidated with Jackson in 1970. That school became Jackson Elementary. Btw, Jackson High was burned down in 78-79. It was truly a really good school in those days. Don't know much about East Feliciana High to comment.
