Yessir. My FIL is 92 and he is on our frndlytv. We have his remote programmed so he can see what to hit on the remote for his western channels. I didn't do it so can't explain. If that can't be done then you made a great point and recommendation.
Get her an antenna for the local channel. Then get (Frndly tv) subscription service for $8 a month. It has 3 Hallmark and 2 GAC channels plus Pixl and Dove. Mama gonna be very happy with you.
Haven't watched the Super Bowl since Peyton Manning's last game. Sure ain't watching Puerto Rican gay rap. Lawd have mercy....
Issue is there aren't enough nurses to go around. Always around 85% or so. Thus many facilities will need travelers until the needs are met. Now, about the pay, those crazy rates are long gone since covid. Yeah on occasion you'll see those rates but those are strike contracts and short in duration, usually several weeks or less. Travel nurse pay has come way down to the point many have quit traveling as having to duplicate expenses makes it not financially feasible.
Heard somewhere they had $80 M to work with.

Nurse could have gotten a medical waiver, perhaps.
Been with cricket for 7 years. 5 lines, $140/month
Service has been mostly very good.
When i saw Charlie tear up after Trump's win last year, I knew this guy was the real deal.
I technically am a Boomer, 65, and know no one who thinks or acts like those guys. The ones I know are mostly very conservative, hard working, family-oriented, and fiscally responsible.

Social Security is a pre-tax deduction so no, you haven't already paid taxes on it

My LES disagrees with this. Gross income and SS taxable income show the exact same numbers.
I have a 2000 Ford Ranger with manual windows. 17 y/o (no pics) got in and asked "what's this for?" pointing at the handles. Couldn't help but laugh.
Driving home from a large family vacation in Destin. Glad that's over with.
I'm here in Butte. 42 right now, snow in the mountains, 32 in the morning. And it is past the summer solstice. Unbelievable.
3y 4m, married 42 years. Still have a crush on her.
One of the bases there, either AFSOUTH or NSA had built a really nice recreation area inside of one of the smaller volcanic cones back in the 70s called Carney Park I think. We would play tackle football there. Good times. I was last there in 1981. Not sure if it is still there.
Sir, you and your daughter are in our prayers. I can only imagine your plight. I am an RN and I want to say something that you may want to research as well. The docs are gonna push chemo, radiation, medication, etc on you. Very few ever mention diet or alternatives. Please look into going to a low carb, i.e. strict keto or carnivore diet. Cancer feeds on glucose and glutamine, these cut out all glucose and your body starts using ketones instead. Glutamine can be controlled by using a hypobaric chamber as most glutamine is made by your body. Thus no fuel, cancer dies or stops growing. I'm not gonna harp anymore into this but please give it a look. With that said, prayers have been sent and I know the good people on this board are praying as well. God speed and we all pray for a full recovery for both of you.

I was stationed on a nuke carrier. We took on Jet fuel in every unrep. What do you think is flowing through those hoses?

Damn. You are correct. These eyes ain't what they used to be. Yep, that's a tanker not a supply ship. And no choppers flying. Had to blow that pic up to see it. I was on JFK back in the 70s. And yes we did take on some fuel during unreps iirc. Think I'll shut up and slide back in my hole.
That picture is of an unrep, not a refuel. That carrier is a nuke. The last conventional was CV-67, the JFK, which is now being turned into razor blades in Brownsville, Tx.
