Elite four-star safety Nadab Joseph from Miami, FL announced Wednesday afternoon that he has de-committed from LSU and has reopened his recruitment.

The 6-3, 180-pound safety from Miami, FL (Edison HS) is rated the No. 16 safety in the country and the No. 49 overall player from the state of Florida for the class of 2018, according to ESPN.

Joseph gave his commitment to LSU last June when Les Miles was still the head coach. He holds offers from nine different SEC schools.

I absolutely hate the demanding that we respect their decision. Almost feels like a threat. I'd respect his decision a lot more without that little tidbit. Now he can seriously frick off.

I wonder if maybe LSU is feeling a little more interested in looking around? The new coaching staff may be looking around as much as Joseph. If not more.

How is the Number 49 ranked player in Florida a 4 star?

It's always striking how small Les looks next to players. Hard to believe he was a lineman for Michigan.

It's cool. He's 4 star. We only look at 3 stars.

Sad and too bad for him. When they commit so early, many of these kids underestimate their family, social or academic issues.

It's way early. He "committed" early and is now wavering. I'm not gonna sweat any player. If he wants to be at LSU, he can be. If not, so be it and best of luck to you. Long way to February.

Kinda saw it coming, we are loaded at safety plus we moved the number 1 safety in the country to wide receiver. Good Luck Nadab
