LSU hosted many high school prospects on campus this past weekend for the Bayou Splash recruiting event.

One of those recruits was elite five-star edge rusher Colins Simmons, who shared this picture on Twitter with the caption: "#TheBKEffect is in motion."


Simmons, a 6-3, 225-pound prospect from Duncanville, Texas, is rated the No. 1 edge rusher in the country and the No. 1 overall player from Texas for the class of 2024, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Simmons his high school teammates with four-star LSU running back target Caden Durham who recently included the Tigers in this top three schools.
