Update: Keylan Moses committed to LSU.

Four-star 2025 athlete Keylan Moses will be announcing his college commitment tonight on his 17th birthday.

The 6’3, 215-pound linebacker from University Lab in Baton Rouge will pick from five schools: LSU, Texas, Oregon, Tennessee, and Florida.

Moses is one of the top five players in Louisiana for the class of 2025. His older brother, Dylan Moses, was a longtime LSU recruit but signed with Alabama.

Stay tuned for his commitment decision later tonight.

For what Oregon and Florida was putting out to get him there, this is a helluva a commitment. He is learning from his brother’s error. He does not want to go the star, BAMA, against Louisiana, hurt, Star, hurt, bust, no Louisiana loyalty rewards benefit route.

Yawn.

Is it wrong that I get zero excitement out of a commitment?

It’s not wrong. It’s akin to us getting zero excitement from your post. It’s neither here nor there.

Until a signed LOI is faxed in, they all are still free agents.

Please respect my decision to open up my recruiting again any time I want if I don’t get the right cash money vibes I’m looking for. CFB is dead and this commitment hullabaloo is now a bunch antiquated bullshite. Can’t have it both ways. You chose money. Deal with it.

They need to start using a different word. These recruits are not ‘committing’ to anything when they make these announcements. Far from it. It’s more like ‘select for now’.

Didn't work out for his brother leaving home

Im fine with kids wanting to get paid to play, but I would like to see them sign contracts if thats the case. If you "Commit" then you sign a contract saying youre there for minimum 2 years. Only coaching changes/Post season bans/things similar can break your contract.

No chance in Sept. 2024 he will re-open his recruitment

Does this really matter considering his brother committed to LSU his freshman year.

So we’re posting commitment times on the front page now

Is there something wrong with that?

Until he actually COMMITS to LSU.. Considering it’s a 2025 recruit and he hasn’t actually decided anything yet, it’s message board material at best..

These elaborate cliffhanger decision posts are a little much. Just fricking tell us. And get off my lawn while you’re at it.
