Four-star offensive tackle Emanuel Tucker has reportedly flipped his commitment from LSU to Ole Miss.

Tucker, a 6-5, 290-pound lineman from New Albany, Miss., committed to the Tigers back in June after visiting LSU.

Tucker is rated the No. 25 offensive tackle in the country, according to the 247 composite rankings.

Same shite, diff kid. Recruiting is a total farce these days, not even sure why anyone talks about it and/or posts onto their social media about it.

Not “these days”, always has been. I’m always surprised at how emotional the adults get about the decisions these 18-q9 year olds make. It ain’t that serious or that important.

Don't understand why our media and schools put so much time in in these early recruitment decisions. With NIL in play it all means nothing.

No guarantees he'll end up there, either. Why do they still refer to these announcements as "commitments"? That's not what they really are....That's a way of letting other schools know who the current highest bidder happens to be....LOL

I’m so shocked! I thought once you committed to something, you kept your word.

My bad.

Look it up in Webster: the word ‘commitment’ is now defined as ‘selected for now’

They want us to be shocked and impressed with every "commitment" they make. It's like a bunch of Jr. High girls and their latest Prince Charming posts.

Recruiting is a complete joke. Kids are now verbally committing to programs just to get other schools to pay more, and apparently, it's working! I don't know why anyone would even purchase a subscription to a recruiting service because recruiting doesn't exist anymore. It's ALL about the $$$$!

It doesn't help that they start recruiting these kids since the 8th grade. I will only believe it when a recruit starts in the uniform and plays. Even can transfer after one year. Portal is ruining college football
