LSU men's basketball coach Matt McMahon landed a big transfer commitment on Thursday from Kentucky forward Daimion Collins.
The 6-9, 210-pound sophomore forward from Atlanta, Texas, spent the past two seasons at Kentucky but did not see much playing time. He averaged just 1.9 points and 1.9 rebounds in 25 games coming off the bench.
Collins is a former five-star recruit and McDonald's All-American.
Collins is the fifth transfer to join the program this offseason joining Carlos Stewart (Santa Clara), Will Baker (Nevada), Jordan Wright (Vanderbilt), and Jalen Cook (Tulane).
