to be fair they are playing the number 1 team and bluest blue blood in the history of the sport

I went to Kuwait as a tourist. there was a long line at passport control and they saw my American passport and took me to the front of the line.

if I had argued anything close to that you would be able to quote me doing so but you cant

but I would imagine all these packed houses to girl's hoops and gymnastics are a result of dirt cheap prices? Or am I wrong?
not sure if the school makes money but my sister went to LSU Texas and her tickets was like $80 each for bad seats.
I am not convinced that ticket revenue is very important, and that the real money is in TV contracts

Ticket sales, parking, merchandising would SKYROCKET with a Wade return
is this stuff really relevant relative to tv contracts? because volleyball and WBB pack the house and they don't earn shite

3) Help me out here. What other reason can there be that they're that way towards a coach that had us headed back to the Dale days of success. I'm all ears dude.
the answer her is that is largely old people who have an antiquated idea of how paying players works, and they resent wade for doing what was necessary to win
I should note that not all McMahon defenders are wade haters. I would argue I am the biggest wade fan on earth, but I have defended McMahon as well. but I am finished defending him.

schools are going to have to decide what sports they want to be really good in
this implies a zero sum where you cant have all sports be good, you have to "decide".
I would be ok with basketball being good. baseball has enough titles.

Did they win an SEC game with Thomas? What were his stats?
you can Google that I am sure.

Do they really believe even with a healthy Thomas this team is even on the bubble?
I actually do think that with a healthy Thomas they might be close to the tournament

He was just dumb about how he paid
no he wasn't he just had back luck. the stupid federal case got him. he could not have expected the NCAA to, for example, listen to his calls, because that is illegal for them to do. he happened to be caught up in a frivolous nonsense case from SDNY that is rare and very bad luck. when the feds are investigating its a lot different than the NCAA

when wade went to mcneese I was heartbroken. I bought a mcneese hoodie and started driving to mcneese games. now I have an NC st hoodie. I watched all interviews with him at mcneese and he said over and over he felt indebted to the leadership at mcneese and felt like he owed the resurrection of his career to them.
he had his contract rewritten with a 1 mill buyout paid to mecneese purely to reward mcneese for taking a chance on him.
he never shuts up about what a significant part of winning is support from the admin. now the LSU admin is his close and trusted friend.
seems possible he would return.

Miller starting over nwoko
yunno what sucks is the way sports work now is even in this lost season I cant find some joy in watching the development of players for next year.
normally I would be pleased by thinking about which guys are pretty good and will return next year. but now whole team leaves every year and its pointless to care who is improving. all our fun is ruined and our existence is bleak and meaningless.

I think its 2 problems
1. McMahon is not a fundraiser and he cant win without big time fundraising.
3. I think his style is less than optimized for the modern game. not enough paint touch 3s, transition 3s. modern game is about finding open 3s and using that threat to create space. Mcmahon seems to be more interested in creating offense in transition off turnovers and defensive rebounds but doesn't have the athletes to do it.
also I think he has pretty bad luck with injuries.

I know administration is completely different and the Wade firing wasn’t due to lack of success, but it’s still rare to go back to a program that showed you the door, as your AI search indicates.
one other unique part of the situation is that the thing he was fired for is now legal. it not like he was fricking interns or embezzling. he was just doing normal business.
