Dick Vitale Reports LSU Has Received Notice Of Allegations From NCAA, LSU Refutes Report

ESPN College Basketball commentator Dick Vitale tweeted this week that LSU has been notified by the NCAA of the various allegations involving the men's basketball team.

Vitale mentioned said that LSU Football is dealing with a "summary disposition" that is delaying the notice from the NCAA.

LSU Senior Associate Athletics Director Robert Munson said in the statement that these reports by Vitale are not true. Per 247Sports:

“LSU has not received any notice of allegations involving the men’s basketball program or any athletic program at LSU," Munson said in a statement.

Where are those “reports”? I haven’t seen that. What I have seen is a Kentucky beat writer saying a decision is near and that the speculation could hurt LSU. Nothing to suggest what you said. The same could be said for Memphis. It would be easy for someone to “report” that he is looking at other places because of Miller’s departure.
