LSU freshman shooting guard Antonio Blakeney announced on Twitter Friday afternoon that he will enter his name into the 2016 NBA Draft but will not hire an agent.
By not hiring an agent, Blakeney keeps his future options flexible.
A new rule allows college basketball players to retain their college eligibility but also participate in the NBA's pre-draft workouts. Blakeney can work out for teams and get feedback but if he hires an agent he will become a pro.
Blakeney, a freshman from Sarasota, Fla. averaged 12.6 points and 3.4 rebounds a game last season for the Tigers.
