Might as well just say he’s out for the series. Because I’m sure he’s not pitching Friday or Saturday either. Those lower back injuries are lingering nightmare apparently

If it’s so bad that he’s missed this much time, sounds like it’s disk related. That’s bad and a recurring problem from now. I’ve never heard about a torn muscle taking THIS long to heal. But I’ve never heard of a torn muscle in the lower back.

Reminds me of Chris Hilton from this past season

Reminds me of the Myles Brennan injury - didn't know what it was and no time table.

Easier just to assume he’ll be out for the rest of the year at this point. Medical redshirt and he’d still have his leverage for 2026 Draft

Hope he recovers soon. We could really use him.

What exactly could this possibly be? Slipped disk? Broken ribs?
user avatar
Lower back sounds like slipped or burst disk. If it’s that, it’ll never be the same. I should know

Cracked ribs are a bitch man. They heal themselves but until then you can hardly breathe or sleep...for about 3 days. You can't hock the crap up outta your throat cause those muscles around your ribs are the ones doing the hocking. So when you dose off you start to choke on that crap. Maybe 5 second naps...seriously is all you're gonna get. Complete misery.

Payback for another life's ease I guess...hahaha.
