Former MLB pitcher and LSU legend Ben McDonald was seriously injured this weekend after falling 25 feet out of a deer stand. Per WGNO:

McDonald, 57, shared a video of himself in a hospital bed on social media Friday, with a caption reading, “This is what a severe concussion looks and sounds like.”
In the video, McDonald appears confused and asks what happened. Someone off-camera explains that the chain or strap of his deer stand broke.
“Apparently I fell out of a deer stand 25 feet up,” McDonald said in his post, adding that he suffered a concussion and two cracked vertebrae. He also thanked the doctors and everyone who reached out with support.
