Five-star defensive end Robert Beal from Bradenton, FL (IMG Academy) announced Tuesday that he has committed to Georgia. Per ESPN:
quote:

"I'm just a homegrown guy," Beal said. "I love my home, I love my state and I want to help bring a national championship back to Georgia."

Beal, an Under Armour All-America Game selection from Norcross, Georgia, originally committed to childhood favorite Notre Dame in November 2015 before decommitting in February.

Beal, the No. 2 defensive end in the country, revealed his decision with this video on Bleacher Report:

He chose Georgia over Texas, Alabama, and Florida State. The Bulldogs now have 13 verbal commits for the 2017 class with the addition of Beal.

When I see the words "Georgia" and "commit", the first thing that comes to mind is crime. I hope the young man has a fabulous career.
