According to North Texas' WFAA News, the two-time national champion, Georgia QB Stetson Bennet, was arrested on public intoxication charges in Dallas early Sunday morning after officers responded to reports of a man "banging on doors" in the area...
quote:

Officers responded to reports of a man banging on doors in the area, police said.

When the officers arrived, they found Bennett "and determined he was intoxicated," a police news release said.

The release did not say if Bennett was the man reportedly banging on doors, and it did not say where, specifically, they located him.

Of all the places to get drunk . . . Don’t do it in the hometown of a team you just curb-stomped for the national championship! Not likely to get any special treatment there.

Seems like he may be a problem drinker. He may want to get a handle on it sooner rather than later.
