I don't care what people use as long as they "sand divots in the fairway, repair ball marks on the green and rake bunkers"

I got tired of one guy in my group not sanding divots so after he hit and went to put his club back in his bag i pulled in front of his cart to block his way, got out and sanded his divot for him, then got back in my cart and drove off without saying a word . . . He got the message
I read Golf Digest and probably gave in to way too many advertisements.
Amen to the pet peeve!!!!

I thought I was the only one that this drove crazy.
Should have gone with Pope Leroy instead!!!
The first thing shown is the front door that swings outward . . . it blows my mind that such a well constructed home would have a door that swings out into guests.
Phoebe Cates - “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”

Without her scene no one remembers that movie.

ULM has a College of Osteopathic Medicine operating on its campus. It appears to be an association with another school. I do not know what they teach, or what Osteopathic Medicine means, but it is a pretty big deal at ULM from all reports. Pretty impressive building for the school.

I’d say it is a quasi medical school just to offend those in a formal medical school

If this was MCNeese, they'd be all for it. It's just part of the "North Louisiana sucks" attitude on here.

This is true. Some folks just don’t get the appeal of a smaller city.
The medical school is up and running. I’m not familiar enough with the program to provide any details.
Lafayette is nice, but it is not without its issues as well.

You need north Louisiana to do well . . . Otherwise you’ll have all the bad element moving down to Lafayette  Don’t come fishing in our pond!

I think moving the pharmacy school from Monroe to Lafayette would be a good idea.

So uproot an excellent program from ULM and move it to ULL and further put north Louisiana in decline?

Thanks for that delightful insight . . . We’re going to pass.

The only thing preventing Joe and Eva from cruising into the final four is keeping Kyle and Shaheen from forming an alliance with Kamila and Mary (wouldn’t trust Mitch with any information). Kyle and Shaeen seem smart enough to realize they lose to either Joe or Eva in the end so they need to get them now before Eva’s advantage or idol are expiring and she has to use them, which could protect her and Joe (even though I think she only told Joe about the advantage).

Kyle, Shaheen and Kamila would then be in charge of the game unless the remaining player between Joe and Eva wins all the remaining immunity challenges.
Dislike the golfers? Only those that I disliked before they joined LIV. Let’s be honest, LIV picked a few unlikable players.

Hate the LIV product.
None of them can count to 21 or they would have been blackjack dealers!

How many seats do you need?

Can you use it on the course? Or will you have to use a club cart once you get to the course?
All players within 3 shots of the leader should advance to Sunday.

What if you have 5 tied for the lead and 3 more one shot back? Will there be a sudden death to knock out someone so only 4 advance?

Although having a foursome play the final day together would be interesting.
Looks like #14 at Squire . . . they should kick you off for that ugly hat.
State employees are generally paid less than they would get for a comparable job in the private sector, thus, the benefits are better to entice long-term employees.

But allowing them to accumulate and get paid for that much unused vacation is nuts!

The pickings are pretty slim.

If you have a connection, the next best course is Bayou DeSiard CC. Typical old school course. Very flat. Nothing special about the layout, but usually maintained in good shape.

Next is Calvert Crossing in Calhoun. More challenging layout and the greens can be difficult. If you spray the ball all over then this is not your course as it is a target-shot layout. Course is in decent shape but takes longer to come out of the dormat season as there are so many trees that block the sunshine.

Frenchmen’s Bend is next. Flat course that is pretty easy unless the wind is blowing and then it can have some bite as it is built on an old rice field and very exposed. Have not heard about current conditions

Chennault Park Golf Course is a city owned course. I personally have not had the need to play it in the last 25 years, so take that for what you will.

Now if you have the time for a drive, Mystic Creek in El Dorado, Arkansas is about 1:20 drive from Monroe. It is a well conditioned course and will likely be one of the tougher courses you will play. Arguably a better course than Squire Creek, but not a better overall experience.
Trump would not be able to keep the secrets related to club membership. He would just enjoy lifting the lid off of ANGC way too much.

There is no way they would extend an invitation.
