On Tuesday, the White House administration officials had an update on this situation. A phone call between WNBA star Brittney Griner and her wife is being rescheduled...
quote:

Griner's previous attempts were unable to connect because of an "unfortunate mistake." State Department spokesman Ned Price referred to this mistake as a "logistical error."
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s top spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, recently commented on Griner's situation...
quote:

“She violated Russian law, and now she’s being prosecuted,” Peskov said. “It’s not about being a hostage. There are lots of American citizens here. They’re enjoying their freedoms … but you have to obey the laws.”

I think your comments are hilarious! Insensitive, but hilarious. Let’s be honest. She is black, gay and presumed to be a democrat.
So, it is okay to minimize her, here. However, she is a perfectly imperfect human, just like the rest of us commenting. No matter how you spin it, her soul is as valuable as any of us and her family loves her like all of our families love us. Minimizing people, because they belong to a certain class is inhumane.

This White House and it's staff are probably just confused what it means to actually enforce the law of the land.

Let's see, you go to another country and you break their drug laws and now you are crying for the USA to save you. OMG, if you do the crime, you can do the time.

Just send the wife over there, too. She's probably dumb enough to take weed. Problem solved.

I guess she’s finally finding out what it’s like to be held accountable for her actions. I don’t think she’s liking it either.

Golf pros catching flak for taking Saudi "blood money". Why hasn't BG gotten the same vitriol for taking Putin's oligarch friends' cash?
