Bud light was always my least favorite of the big 3. Not shitting on it like every other response in this thread will end up doing, I just prefer miller lite.

Signing sounds better than being divorced and working at a gas station.

30 second cleaner works well on the grime on some surfaces but I also used a house cleaner on the hardie board that worked even better. Think I got it at Home Depot. If I were home I’d go look and could tell you.

Did my driveway and the backside of my house in March. Then cleaned the washer itself.

He told me one time, "I don't have anybody I can reminisce with any more."
I think that’s how my FIL felt. My MIL was a special lady and had plenty of friends. My FIL went a long with her on a lot of the things she did but he was basically friendless without her.
I was worried about my dad when he retired after seeing and interacting with people every day for 42 years, but he’s been super active. Plays golf 3 days a week and shot an 84 (from the old man tees) last week. Don’t think he’s shot in the 80s in like 30 years. I thought he may end up just sitting at home doing nothing but he never misses anything my kids do unless he’s already committed to something for either of my siblings kids.

While they can be quite depressing, I think there is something to be said about being as active as possible as you age. Hopefully that would keep you from being in one in the first place.
With good reason, my FIL just basically gave up after my MIL passed and he just wasted away in his chair as he had no desire to do anything for years after. He ended up in one for a short time but went back home. I don’t think he would have lasted as long as he did if he would’ve stayed.
I completely understand why he felt the way he did, but he had children and grandchildren to live for and he just didn’t want to. This was a man who once, with his dad, built most of a 4500 sf house by themselves.

Watch it.
I didn’t like it nearly as much on the first viewing as I did BoB, but I like it more each time I do watch it.
Update us in 2035 when you do watch it tho.
ETA I went into it expecting the same show as BoB and it was different. Go into it realizing that the stories are told differently between the two and you won’t be let down. It’s still really good.

My wife does this but I cant bring myself to put a Mrs. in front of a name especially when they're younger than me.
Definitely wouldnt do it for male teachers, just sounds a bit pansy for a man to call a younger man Mr.
If my kids are present I call them Mrs Smith, if they aren’t or if we’re in a social setting I call them by their first name.

What happened to OMLandshark?
Reading thru this old thread I realized I haven’t seen him post in a while. Looks like he edited and deleted A LOT of his posts.
I’m currently on page 150 of his post history and in Jan of 2025 and every one so far has been edited.

Sold mine for what I paid for it after 7 years. Replaced the batteries after 5 years so it cost me < $100 per year to own it.
