Pro Surfer Makua Rothman Caught On Video Riding 100-Foot Wave In Hawaii

Surf industry officials close to Rothman tell TMZ Sports the wave might very well be the tallest ever surfed -- beating Rothman's previous record of around 66 feet.

00Waves are measured trough to crest. Watch the video again and at the beginning of the wave before it breaks you can get a sense of how tall the wave is by how tiny the surfer looks. When the wave starts breaking it does get smaller but that's what happens when waves break.
