Winning once is impressive, but twice? Same day? Same numbers?...
quote:

Per news4sanantonio - Paul Corcoran, a resident of Fitchburg in the north-central part of the state, initially bought a multi-draw ticket for the Powerball drawing on July 9.

Believing there might be an issue with the ticket, Corcoran decided to purchase a second ticket at a store about ten minutes away. To his surprise, both tickets matched five of the winning numbers, though neither matched the Powerball number.

Your title says "he forgot he bought a 1st ticket", but the quotes say "Believing there might be an issue with the 1st ticket, he bought a 2nd ticket 10 minutes away". That is not forgetting you bought a 1st ticket.

Had he paid $1 per ticket extra for the power play, he would have $4 million instead of $2 million. You also get any prize below that increased. IF you play, buy the power play!!!
