Dallas High School Football Player Targeted, Choked & Attacked By Opponent

Title is backwards. These were University (Waco) Baylor JV kids targeting Burleson JV QB. UIL is currently investigating. The same kid was also hit in the back and late multiple times throughout the game. Looks like he may have been singled out by University coaches.

Sue the kid's parents, coaches, everyone.

Something does not smell right about this whole deal. The Waco kids shouldn’t be allowed to play but there is a back story here that isn’t being told.

Fire the Coach, arrest the kid. That would be a great step in the right direction. If this happened outside of Football that is exactly what would happen so why should it be any different because they are playing a game?

If this was done to any of my teammates in HS, the guilty party is targeted in return... Nothing illegal like choking nonsense, but he's gonna need to keep his head on a swivel every play after the incident. In the article it says he was ejected and suspended for the next game's first half, but I would prefer they throw the flag for the first occurrence and leave guys like that in the game for karma/justice. The mom Crying is pathetic unless the kid was really injured from the incident, but I didn't read where he had anything more than his feelings hurt.

Article is a bit misleading. Neither school is in Dallas. Burleson is south of Fort Worth, and University High School is in Waco (the alma mater of LaDainian Tomlinson).

This kids mom should not be weeping on TV. It'll only make things worse for her kid. Get over your fat self and do this the proper way with the mindset to not hurt your kid further.

The additional steps should be to have this kid brought up on assault charges. There's clear video evidence of the assault. Put that big fricker in cuffs at school and see how he reacts to the perp walk in front of the girl he likes.

Thats a longer suspension than a game. I wouldn’t be opposed to formal charges being brought against him. He could have killled him. That’s pathetic. The coaches should have kicked him off the team.

Both players that targeted should banned. 74 should also be arrested. Not a football play at all ,that was an attack. Should be banned and arrested
