He does not deserve a rematch yet. He needs to fight another top level Lightweight like Ferguson and earn that shot. I would even like to see him fight Poirier again. Their last fight was in 2014. Alot has changed since then.

Consider the business side of this. A rematch will happen because of the marketing draw it will have. The group that bought the UFC need a return on that investment and connor brings the PPV numbers.
