Earlier this week, former Crimson Tide QB Greg McElroy said that he was tired of the "clowns" who accuse him of disliking Alabama now. On Thursday, he apologized for the harsh remarks...
quote:

“That’s how important it is, to be honest just had a tough time sleeping last night, just felt bad about it,” McElroy said. “Wasn’t the right thing to do. He had no business being dragged into my frustrations, and allowing my emotions to boil over yesterday was wrong. Absolutely 100% wrong.”

“He was a great player, and very grateful for his contributions to Alabama was similar to the contributions I made and every other player made to that university over the last 15, 20, 30, 50, 100 years. So very, very grateful to him and appreciate him.”

Yet, he's melting over a comment (s) about The Gumps.

Who cares what anyone that works for ESPN has to say. They employed RG3 after all.

RG3 is awful. Heard his teammates at Baylor and WashDC weren’t fans, either. Easy to see why.

He has no business in this career then, regardless of what you say. Someone will always criticize you, man up and own what you say and stand by it. Bama has a very tough road ahead and those spoiled fans are about to get smacked in the face with reality.

He got threatened with a lawsuit and caved like a baby back punk. Typical Bama QB.

Never apologize for stating your opinion. Never.

Due actually played for bama, so by definition, anyone accusing him of hating bama would be a clown…what is he apologizing for again?
user avatar

Very shallow apology! He had no problem blasting a former teammate for everyone to hear, but suddenly felt remorse! Total BS!
