8 seaons and 26 loses... he would have been burnt at the stake here at LSU by now.

This season has sold me on Dabo. I'd welcome him home when Saban hangs it up.

So... Saban to Texas, Dabo to Bama, Jimbo to LSU and Herman/Fuente to FSU?

Dabo is a joke. He is riding lightning right now with Deshaun Watson though. Reminds me of Chizik and Cam.

He sounds really loyal to Clem.

His antics may not go over well at Bama. But it'd go over better than banging his secretary or paying an ugly stripper with university money.

Dabo has owned the SEC....well we've done our part in not supporting that theory. Of his 8 seasons, they've lost to us 5 times. He doesn't own us. Don't know what his record is against Georgia and Auburn over that time or how many times they've played. He's a goofball and I doubt his antics would go over well at Bama.

As a LSU fan, I hope Bama doesn't hire Dabo.

You cannot deny the job he has done in his 7 years at Clemson. Won his division twice, has an ACC title, been to two Orange Bowls. The guy has beaten Florida State, Oklahoma, LSU, Ohio State, and Auburn. I know a lot of Bama fans frown on him being the head coach one day, but damn, they could do MUCH worse.

Got the same vibe, they call he gone. Guy is a clown...but he's good at what he does for what he's got to work with.

The guy has over achieved in everything he has done. An untalented walk on that got significant playing time and was a leader on the 1992 NC team. Much like a Nyswander type player.Stallings hired him as an asst. Bowden hired him at Clemson. How many interem coaches last 8 seasons? Now the guy is out recruiting Richt in GA and has basically locked down the Carolinas. He is recruiting like a boss. Players absolutely love him. He would be very successful at Bama. Especially with the infrastructure he would inherit.

Did anyone else get the feeling that Dabo basically just said if they call and offer I'm going?

Dont laugh too hard Auburn fans...we laughed at Bama hiring Kiffen and look where that got us. Not to mention Dabo has owned the SEC since going to Clemson, which is one of the reasons Alabama is scared to schedule them
