did you even see how may fricking trees they pulled out of the lakes? There were piles multiple stories high that were shredded and re stacked, multiple times.

So from that aspect..... a lot of good was done.
Three thirty in the mornin', not a soul in sight

FIFY. doesn't need to melt. heat "weakens" steel, then it fails.
i love when this arguement happens.

cant melt steel people hate it when they learn about how ductility changes with temperature.

Right, Carolyn Donham just died peacefully in her home with family. You would think her righteous societal members would reject her living in their peace loving Louisiana community but they never said a thing.
What does this have to do with Black culture having no respect for human life and kill whites. blacks, anyone for disrepeck and many other trivial things.

I love an open flame burger but a smash burger beats it.
They are great for cooking for a large family or party. Great for lots of breakfast. If your going to be using 2 or 3 skillets in the kitchen, it's easier, less cleanup.

But I do agree they take up a lot of space. Maybe become and OT Baller and get a bigger outdoor space.

I remember starting a thread here when the OG Blackstones were on fire sale from Walmart for like 200 bucks. That's when I got mine and has been well worth it.

My dad has a 2012 Tundra 4.6 with ~220,000 miles that has literally never needed anything other than regular basic maintenance, i.e. tires, brakes, suspension and batteries. No leaks, no check engine lights, no unexpected problems, ever.

I fear that no one will ever be able to make that same statement honestly about one of the new Tundras.
My 2003 Sierra Z71 went to 160k when i gave it to my dad and he drove it to well over 250k before he got rid of it... nothing but basic maintenance.

Had a 2008 Sierra I got rid of at 140k.... no problems...

and not my 2014 Raptor is like 140k on it with no issue at all...

I love the shite Toyota figs are getting thrown because they talk so much shite about others when realistically, every manufacturer has issues and sucesses.

why are there 100s of videos showing the #1 burger in the world and its from all different places?

 yea Police and Military are "Patriotic" but they listen to Orders given down from the same government we are hypothetically saying is taking away rights.

So its a good assumption that you would be fighting a Gestapo like force.

have you ever been to Boston? Boston central isnt huge at all..... I was surprised when i went where you could walk most places.

I know there are at least a hundred bars in Boston and have drank at probably a dozen of them in my multiple trips. I'm not an expert but know there are plenty of bars

From Gemini
quote:

Finding an exact, static number for how many "bars" are in Boston is a bit of a moving target because it depends on how you define them. Are we talking strictly neighborhood pubs, or do we count every restaurant, cocktail lounge, and hotel lobby with a liquor license?

If you look strictly at venues categorized primarily as a bar, pub, or lounge, Google Maps data clocks the number at roughly 160 to 180 dedicated drinking establishments within city limits.

However, if you look at it from a regulatory standpoint, the landscape is much larger.

The Baseline: The city has roughly 1,000 to 1,400 active "on-premise" liquor licenses (allowing patrons to drink on-site). This covers everything from your classic Irish pubs in Southie to high-end restaurants in the Back Bay and even airport bars at Logan.

lets compart that to baton rouge

quote:

The Dedicated Bar Count
If you filter out the standard sit-down restaurants and look strictly at dedicated neighborhood dives, college spots, cocktail lounges, and craft taprooms, Google Maps and local commerce data show roughly 100 to 120 dedicated drinking establishments within the immediate Baton Rouge area.

The Total Liquor License Picture
If you scale it up to include every location where you can buy a drink on-site—including fine dining restaurants, casual eateries, hotel bars, music venues, and strip malls serving daiquiris—the numbers get much bigger.

According to Open Data Baton Rouge’s ABC license registry, there are roughly 1,400 to 1,500 active alcohol licenses across East Baton Rouge Parish. About half of these are "Class A" permits, which cover on-premise consumption for restaurants and bars alike.

So very comparable to Baton rouge. for a city with 3 times the people.

Im not trying to argue hate on Boston. I thought it was a great time. But it was very small when you grow up thinking Boston is on par with cities like New York, Chicago.
looks liek they got it back.

ABET

I remember then the southern kids came to LSU for a summer school class. It was a mid level class and they didnt know basic math principles you have to know in prereq engineering courses.

The department had to come in and made 2 grading scales.

The people were nice but if you asked them what a^2 + b^2 equaled, they would look at you like your speaking a different language.
