My son played against a kid that size in middle school and on through high school and the kid’s age corresponded appropriately with his grade level. Played a year at UF and then transferred to D-II. So, yes it is possibly to be that big at that age.

Absolutely! I wish they would give the kids age also instead of just a grade for the splash headline. I seriously doubt the kids is only 13 years old.

Good lord....the single largest human I ever encountered on the field was in 8th grade. Kid was legit 6'5" 275. He moved to Texas returning to LA before his SR year in HS. Met him at that time at an LSU lineman camp. He was 6'8" 335lbs and dude could move damn well. Sadly, his homelife was rough and he never graduated:( Great guy too.
