Vandy Kicker Sarah Fuller Posted This To Those Hating On Her 'Player of the Week' Nod
© Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports
Vanderbilt kicker Sarah Fuller made history over the weekend becoming the first woman ever to officially take the field during a football game in a major conference football game. Her only action was a 30-yard kick to start the second half. So when she won SEC's "Special Teams Player of the Week," the internet trolls came a knocking. So, she hit them with this...
Take that, internet.

Kicking a soccer ball and a football are completely different. Stick to selfies of IG girlfriend.

Participation trophy. OMG, do we really have to lower the standards this low for women? How sad.

It's a freaking soccer ball! I'm sorry but her kicking a soccer ball 50 yards means jack shite in terms of football and does not warrant a "i'll just leave this here" post. If it was a video of her kicking a football with that caption then we'll talk.

Fake news literally

In 4 years playing soccer at Vandy she has zero POTW awards. In one week playing Vandy football she has one POTW awards for one pooch kick. It's hysterical not historical.

That was about 40 yards. Nearly the whole field? She kicked it to the 18 yard line from the 40 yard line.

it was 52 plus how ever far she kicked inside the 18. She was ten back from mid field. Wind looked strong and its a soccer ball. The entire field comment by Vandy and her pimping it is laughable though

That was about 52 yards with a very strong wind.

So many hateful sexists. Its shameful for America in 2020.

It's patronizing of Vanderbilt to let her play but not let her try to kick it out of the back of the endzone, or kick a fieldgoal longer than 15 yards. You don't even need to get a soccer player to squib it to the 30 or kick a 15 yard field goal. Any reasonably athletic person can do those things.

It was a “squib kick” either because it wasn’t supposed to be and she just muffed it, or they knew she couldn’t kick it and were trying to help her save face

typical self-serving leftist wacko who views herself as relevant. This should be treated as what it is: a damned embarrassment

Typical insecure right-wing wacko who thinks any benign piece of fluff is an attack against him and his worldview. Breathe into the paper, shitface. Breathe, and relax. Based on your avatar Pic, I do assume you go by shitface.

If she had any pride she would realize it was award given and not earned. Just like a participation Trophy.

30-ish yd squib that any 7th grade male kicker could smoke wins virtue signal of the week. Nice.

There are women who live in remote parts of this country like Alaska who hunt, trap, fish, tan hides, and raise families all in arse deep snow. Yet, people make a big deal out of a chick squib kicking a football.

Vandy should just drop football after this disgusting attempt to draw attention to some kind of perverted political statement. SEC should remove them

So who will be the first male player to make a girl’s squad?

Posts a video of her playing soccer in response to people questioning her football skills. Lets see videos of your 45 yard field goal kicks.
