I saw a lot of Hey OU threads in the past week but no Hey Texas ones. Hope you enjoyed your on-paper win leading up to the game. Well, here’s a recap of our win so you can melt some more.

Our video team really did a bang up job on this one. It’s a 10 minute sports movie. Used a lot of on the ground video I hadn’t seen as well. Really great work.

Super great game and is the best rivalry game and setting in college football.

Til next year

It’s OK, they’ve started dozens of threads about big Brother Aggie since you beat the crap out of them on Saturday

So I get these two Texas teams hate each other. The real question is how do you both feel about Texas Tech? What is the fanbase like?

Aggie is more a rivalry to Tech than Texas... Their fans have had some funny on field incidents after their games ended through the years that are documented on youtube.

Tech ruined Texas chances at a National Championship appearance in 2008 with an end of the game big catch and score by Tech's receiver Michael Crabtree. They will never be forgiven for that.

Tech has played the spoiler a few times through the years. They've rallied and beaten some decent teams in Lubbock.

Yes I remember Crabtree. OM played them that year in the Cotton Bowl. That guy was legit. QB was Graham Harrell I believe.

Don't blame y'all for talking $hit one bit. All the cocky longhorn fans didn't think it was possible. I was one of those expecting a close game.

Yeah, it was Graham Harrell. Those Mike Leach era teams had a few decent players at Tech. Crabtree, Wes Welker, etc. 9 times out of 10 Texas and OU would beat them, but they would have some surprising wins sometimes in Lubbock. Oklahoma State under Les Miles and also Gundy was pretty much the same. They loved to be the spoiler and would step up and beat good teams surprisingly ever so often.

I had a lot of friends from High School that went there in the 90s. Big time party school, lots of hot chicks from Dallas/ Fort Worth and Houston area and West Texas. Lots of Cowboys and wannabe Cowboys and kids from farming and/or oilfield families.

What's up with OU being a TD favorite over Kentucky? Did y'all somehow become a good football team after beating Texas?
