So, most of you ranters see Mizzou and Arky fans constantly try to push aside them not being rivals but constantly bash one another and flock to each other’s threads.

On Twitter, it’s even worse.

Is the narrative “not a rival” fake in your eyes? Has it gotten to the point where these two schools look and feel like rivals. Both fanbases act like they are too good for one another but, In reality, both of our schools football history is far from anything special. State lines touch. Arky fan all over SWMO. The lord and savior of the state of Arkansas is a Mizzou grad in Sam Walton.

What’s the ranters opinion? We already know fans of these two fanbases are going to downplay the shite out of our game but both teams fans are going to want to win come thanksgiving weekend big time.

Maybe LSU should give more shits. If they did, they might not have lost to Mizzou last time they played.

No it isn’t, dumbfrick.

Meanwhile the country shoves LSU and Alabama down our throats when the game is barely competitive for a fricking decade.

What other “rivalries” does LSU have? I honestly don’t know. They’re either discontinued or lord forbid, no one gives a shite.

LSU v. A&M is more of a rivalry than their game with Alabama. I bet they're hoping they get out of playing them every year.

It should be a rivalry and should be played every year. Border wars are always fun. Proximity breeds contempt and contempt is the lifeblood of college sports.

No it isn’t. No Arkansas fans outside this board care about Mizzou at all.

I’m not even sure that Mizzou fans outside this board exist. It doesn’t appear they do watching games on TV and seeing attendance

I will also add our histories aren’t the same. Arkansas comes in at #20 all time. Mizzou is 37

Arkansas and OM have similar football histories (minus we have been to Atlanta a few times). Arkansas and Mizzou don’t

Honestly I don't view Missouri as having rivals at all. It's the team that has the least visibility and weakest fit in the SEC so I know nothing of the program despite them being here for a decade now.

Who is Missouri's rival? Kansas? Iowa State? No clue.

I was a small kid when Arkansas and USC joined but when I started following football late 90s they were fully integrated.

The “at alls” sure make it seem like this is actually a rivalry to you.

I don’t know a single Mizzou fan. It’s literally the only school in the SEC I don’t personally know someone that attended. So again it’s not a rivalry at all.

Again maybe on this board but that’s where it stops.

I think as time goes on, they will become the ""paired rival" even of each fanbase thinks their true rival is elsewhere.

Going forward I can see ...

TAMU vs LSU
Arkansas vs Missouri
Nutless cow college in austin being Sooners new whipping boy (unless we add KU)

You are just getting getting in the way of us being able to schedule more meaningful and historical rivalries moving forward.

It's a fake rivalry that is pushed by the SEC office on both schools. I don't dislike Missouri and see them as the same level as Arkansas, not a top tier school that struggles to get to that level.

Now when Texas joins then all bets are off and a majority of Arkansas fans hate them with a passion.

Living in Arkansas, I run into Hog fans non-stop (obviously). They all pretty much talk about turning things around against Mizzou ... hating Mizzou, etc.

They'll also lean pretty heavily on making fun of Drink, since they really don't have much else to work with.

These message board posters would have you think it is not a rivalry, but the real folks in Arkansas certainly act like it.

You think the SEC leadership is going to trade OU vs Utx for Hogs vs Beefo?

I think both will play. If you listened to Sankey yesterday it was pretty obvious Texas vs Arkansas will be a yearly game
