As a Bama fan, I have not watched a single second. If they win, good for them, but softball is a sport that was added to appease Title 9. However, I would watch it before I would watch baseball.

Maybe when it started but softball is now a revenue sport. Schools that invest in the program are seeing profits. It is the 4th highest revenue sport in the NCAA.
It's also paying for my daughter's education so I may be a little bias.

College Softball >>>>> CBB IMO, much faster paced and the games are over within two hours.

I am as purist a baseball fan as you will find but I’ve finally conceded changes need to be made. 7 innings is plenty. They are experimenting with moving the mound back a foot which should increase offense and a time limit between pitches. I hated the idea but if we want it to survive we’re going to have to make changes. Girls college softball is more entertaining.

I'm bias too. My daughter doesn't play in college, but played since she was 4 years old, I coached her in travel from 10U-14U until she out grew my ability to coach her. She played at pretty high level until she went off to Bama.
We had a great time, she made lifelong friends, and kept her busy, very busy.
I love watching games, very fast moving, not all the 5-6 throw backs to 1st, stealing bases is legit, and the girls just have fun and aren't afraid to show it.

they still aren’t Oklahoma though.
SEC softball will be a nightmare once OU joins.
Although I trust Pat Murphy and Tim Dalton will do fine, Torina’s SEC struggles will get worse
