I would think softball and baseball coaches will be given a pass unless they were off to historically bad starts.

Sweetheart, I was thinkin’ of my friends with lousy hoops coaches.
And my school’s softball coach.

Here's the thing with little Jimmy Bo.
LSU fans - one of the most collectively dumb, mouth-breathing fanbases in college sports wanted LSU to hire Jimbo back when Les was fired. They were screaming and hollering about it - both on this site and in real life.
Their AD at the time was more intelligent than them, and he was like "Yea, Jimbo kind of sucks, so I'm not gonna hire him."
Then LSU fans were enraged and start flinging feces and piss balloons around until their AD was fired.
Then A&M - your school - decided it was a good idea to pay 75 million dollars to hire the man that the LSU morons had been lusting after for the past year or two.
Think about it - your school followed the suggestions of the dumbass LSU mob you see on this webpage daily. Does that seem like a smart decision to you?
Oh, and the cherry on top of the shite cake? Shortly after that you hire Ross fricking Bjork - the clown of an AD at Ole Miss that was responsible for basically every embarrassing thing that's happened to their programs over the last 6 years. He was literally about to be fired from Ole Miss, and you hired him. Think about that.
Texas A&M should be a powerhouse but A&M is so belligerently dumb that you can't even beat us (MSU) half the time.
