Head coach extension hell, and that will never happen this season. The OC is on borrowed time. If Oky goes belly up vs. Georgia and the Shorthorns, and I have no idea how they find the offense to fight those teams off, he'll get run out of town. In the Big 12, maybe you could afford to wait it out; in the SEC, by midseason, this thing is going to crawl up the back of Venables like an 800 lbs gorilla.

It’s not so much the L… it’s the way they got the L… same old shite. No offense still and can’t even beat one of the other worst offenses in Michigan

Fans in Norman are already calling for Arbuckle to go and to bring back Kevin Wilson. At lease he knows how to gameplan and call plays, the years he was here, OU had record setting Offense.

exactly, its not that we lost, it's how we lose. Defense held Michigan to 17 (10 if you dont count Mateer giving them the ball back on the OU 6) which should be plenty to beat them. Its the same old crap on offense again. Abandon the running game (Avant was averaging 4 yards a carry) and nit just miss wide open receivers over the middle, but not even see them and throw to Satenga in double coverage.
This year is the same as last year on offense , other than Witten getting our Tight Ends to actually play the game.

Good point. He can fix Mateer by running the ball out of 12-13 personnel, short passes to WR's and TE'd where he gets the ball out rapidly.

And you dont have to fire Arbuckle mid-season, just name KW as Co-Coordinator and give him the gameplan and play calling, After the season is over, if BA wants to leave, let him.

A good running game can cure a lot of woes. Mateer seems to be serviceable with the one-read and haul-the-mail approach.
