The SEC is so incompetent they don't even have a standard for how to report player status. Some schools report everyone that's out as out. Others just assume that you know some are out and don't list them. Like everything done under Sankey, it's inconsistent and poorly organized.

The game that stands out to me is OM vs Florida. Look how many players OM has that will be missing the game or will be banged up pretty good if they do play. Not a good sign for OM.

Also very difficult to keep a team “up” following a big win. Saban was the best at it, but even he found it challenging.

Yeah OM isn’t in a very good spot and then has a ton of injuries on top of it. I kind of liked Florida this week. After seeing this list of injuries and then add in the fact they had a huge win last week and then have to go on the road and play in a difficult stadium this week I think I really like Florida this week now.

This is the part that pundits and national media don't seem to grasp (or at least don't care to) about the difficulty of playing in the SEC.
Having an elite SOS is much more complicated than playing absolutely no one with a pulse and rolling into the playoffs unscathed.
College football has never had schedule parity, and it absolutely matters.

I think the Playoff Committee absolutely understands how difficult SOS is. A lot of those people played, coached, or are deeply involved at the administration level.
They have no choice; they have to pick conference winners, including G-6. It doesn't matter where they are ranked; they automatically move over higher-ranked teams.
The 4-team playoff Committee only picked the 4 BEST. College football put handcuffs on these people.

The problem with SOS inequality is much deeper than just conference winners and the G6. SOS is so poorly considered that it skews the entire set of playoff rankings, which in turn skews the brackets, first round byes, etc.. Given the minimal level of inter-conference matchups between top teams, and the inability (or unwillingness) to attempt/include an accurate SOS weighting, the fairest method would probably be to take the top 16 and randomly assign the brackets. That of course will never happen because they want to influence outcomes.

We took BEST from the Playoff Committee mandate. BEST is no longer the end goal. Now they don't care as much, that's obvious. At-large teams that have been ranked all season in the top 12, even by the Playoff Poll, will disappear as soon as we figure out who automatically qualifies. Mandate the BEST 12 teams, regardless, and the burden changes for the Playoff Committee.

This, I believe Kip Lewis is the only player on Oklahoma's list that was injured in a game. THe rest were injured in practice. Been an issue for years.
