Speaking with The Athletic, Arch Manning's dad Cooper spoke on the impact Peyton and Eli have had on his son's development, and it sounds like it was mostly from a distance given their busy post-NFL lives...
quote:

"As much as they are great influences, they weren't around a ton," Manning admitted. "I don't think Eli ever saw Arch play a high school or college football game. He is coming in this year. Peyton would come in for a game or two occasionally. Arch would see them at the Manning Passing Academy and may see 'em at Mardi Gras, but that's like five nights in a year, so it's hard to say whether he's 'like them or like someone else.'"

"I do think you can pick up little pieces of people that you like. Arch is probably just as likely to pick up a habit of Patrick Mahomes as he is of Eli with things that you just like about people and the way they handle themselves," he added. "And fortunately, anybody who watches anything can get more exposure to players they like and want to mimic."

Cooper looks like a douche, Eli is apparently an absentee uncle, and Arch’s eyes look like he does heroin. Weird family.

They’re not weird at all. They are exceptional, though.

Why are all the Mannings so goofy-looking?

They have kind of a Windsor or Kennedy look going. They Royals and the Kennedys are also some goofy-lookin’ mofos … with some exceptions.

The question was the impact Eli and Peyton had on Arch’s development. Cooper would know his son best and would know any traits he gives off that resemble his brothers. I don’t understand his answer of them not coming to see Arch play a bunch. How is watching him play impact his development? I guess the best answer is none, but Cooper wasn’t going to say that so he gave some beat around answer.

I’m sure it’s pretty much just normal family interaction, based on my observations locally…

Arch just needs a haircut. If he doesn't cut it in the NFL, and gets professional big boy job, you can't sport that. My company would tell me haircut or fired if I had that.

You work for George Steinbrenner?

Mahomes has an awful haircut. It transformed haircut styles because now everyone wears it. If you play well, nobody cares about your hair.

Dad sounding jealous at Peyton/Eli getting all the credit.
