I'm not defending his stupid behavior bc I don't know him. When you are out there alone and can't get someone talk you off the ledge, it's very hard to gain composure when you're in melt mode. This is part of their training, to work on the emotions at that moment. You are on an island and no one can console you. Unless you've been there, it's impossible to understand when competing at such a high level.

Everyone else deals with the same pressures. But nobody else these days has perpetual melts like this headcase. I don't have to play professional tennis to understand those things.
