why would the dealership do this? Hooker's can't transfer mid-year and is gone to the NFL after this year, so there's no need to incentivize him with NIL money. But maybe it's truly for advertising, more than just NIL.

It's for the next recruit to know someone is going to pay them.

For one thing it definitely is for advertising. Hendon Hooker is Tennessee's miracle. They have been so bad for so many years and his name is gold in Knoxville. Seriously, if they beat UGA, you're talking Hendon for Heisman for real. Also, like Jon A thon said, it could be a advert for high school recruits that you could also get a deal from a Benz dealer. I mean Myles Brennan was given a truck and it was not to stay at LSU.

It's great to see that we no longer need to hide pay for play.

Legal aged adults being able to finally legally profit off of our their labor just like any other instance within American society when someone turns 18. I'm all for it. About damn time.

I made money/profit cutting grass when I was 10. Do you now have to be 18 to make money in America?

Do you think those who earn X amount should pay that scholarship money back?
