DirectTV is the enemy today. The cable service provider emailed customers telling them they do not carry the SEC Network. And then angry SEC fans took to twitter...

DirecTV is emailing SEC fans who have requested @SECNetwork that they "have no current plans to carry the SEC Network." Be forewarned.

Continue to believe that cable and satellite companies have no idea what's coming from SEC fans if games start getting missed.

Excited that my @directv contact is up in August. Who wants my money? #GetSECNetwork and we will set it up. @SECNetwork is gonna rock

@directv if you choose not to carry the #SECNetwork I will drop you. You have until just before football season to get it together.

Congrats @DIRECTV you’ll carry the worthless Big10 Network but you’re snubbing the SEC - best of luck!

Do you reckon that DirectTV will put forth an honest effort? They let The Weather Channel go; had to be more viewers involved in that.

B1G Network was probably a lot cheaper to acquire. SEC Network will be in high demand, especially for tailgaters with portable dishes, so I am sure this is just a money issue. I have a good feeling this deal will get done before any football games are missed.

I found out that Dish Network will buy out your Directv contract if you switch to them

They'll end up carrying it. They're just posturing to lower the cost to ESPN.

This is totally absurd. They carry the Big 10 Network but they do not plan on carrying the TV network of the premier college sports conference in the nation. How many accounts do you think will be cancelled in the southeastern portion of the US?

I was planning on going to Direct TV, but will not, if they don't carry the network.
