Georgia would have to beat Tennessee to be a two loss team. That coupled with the win at Texas would get them in.

the SECCG loser will not drop below other 2-loss SEC teams. The committee has a history of not punishing the conference title game loser. They kept Iowa ahead of Ohio State once, after Iowa lost to Michigan State, sending the Hawkeyes to the Rose Bowl ahead of the Buckeyes. That should tell you everything.

Did the decision to keep Iowa ahead of Ohio State keep anyone out of the playoffs? No. Instead of going to the Rose Bowl, Ohio State played in the Fiesta Bowl. Neither of those two were considered for the playoff. They are not the same situations at all.
