According to recruiting analyst Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, the nation’s No. 1 prospect in the 2023 class, Arch Manning, will travel to Athens for the Georgia Bulldogs va the South Carolina Gamecocks game...
quote:

“Georgia is good this year,” Manning said, per Wiltfong. “Beat Clemson week one and then had a good showing against UAB with Stetson [Bennett]. So I’m just excited. Kirby is a really good coach and I’m excited to get up there and see what game is all about in Athens.”

Manning, nephew of Peyton and Eli, is also intrigued by Georgia’s pro-style quarterback model and college town atmosphere.

“That’s definitely more of a pro-style offense than some colleges,” he said. “I’m excited and [offensive coordinator Todd] Monken is a really good coach and I think they’re going to have a good year and it’s going to be cool watching them in person. Athens is really cool. That was probably the coolest college town there is. Coach Kirby [Smart], he has a good program. He’s a really laid-back good guy and seems like a guy I want to play for.”

Glad he isn't coming here. He'd look like the second coming of Archie Manning running for his life every play.

makes sense ... good school and great town. Plus why not add another state to the Manning clan's legacy. Tennessee and Mississippi are covered.
