Highly recruited running back Damien Harris from Berea, Kentucky announced that he has committed to Alabama. Harris is ranked as the No. 1 running back according to Rivals. Per ESPN:
quote:

Harris had originally committed to Michigan but ultimately decided on Alabama after his decommitment.

"It's a hard decision, because all three schools are great schools, but at the end of the day I got the feeling that Alabama would develop me academically and physically as an athlete. I started to realize that's what was best for me," he said. "Alabama, they just said come join the dynasty. They're a national championship contender every year and that's the type of program they've developed."

The key word here is THEY ARE A CONTENDER for the national championship every year. That might be a good enough reason, not everybody wants to play for losers.

This is pretty hilarious. Reminds me of the DeShawn Hand commitment last year. Bama was the least likely of his choices "it seemed" to get both of these guys. Same with Kendall Sheffield this year and Tony Brown last year.

Don't know how they do it, and won't speculate, but the way they pull 5 stars when nothing truly points to them getting them, is down right funny right now.

I actually thought he'd go there after realizing Bama was one of the places that were in his top three. After seeing it happen so many times, you just expect it now.

The idiots who comment on Alabama paying players are morons. The intelligence factor for them is zero. The IQ level of such a moronic comment is about 50.
