What about Thompson, Oliver, Ellis Johnson , and Pat Dye? Now name former Auburn coaches who later became Alabama coaches?
You should laugh at the Auburn fan who claims Dye made Bryant successful. Dye's success at Auburn was the knowledge of the game he learned from Bryant. Dye's mannerisms were similar to Bryant. Even ran the wishbone like Bryant.
I wonder if Dye ever regrets had he waited a few more years he would have succeeded Bryant.
As far as Muschamp? We don't claim him. We have to much fun destroying him on the field
. Wait Cooper and Drake just caught another TD against Booms defense.
" He drank himself to death worrying about Auburn."

Bryant 19-5 against Auburn could easily have been 21-3 if Auburn didn't have a horseshoe up their arse in their last 2 wins against Bryant 1972 and 1982 both by 1 point and was dominated statatistically. That would have been 1971-1982 win streak for Alabama. You all feared the man. Last game Auburn players ran past Pat Dye just to shake Bryants hand. He owned you. He should be referred to Papa Bryant he was your daddy.
Muschamp learned defense from Saban. Saban is head coach at what school at present. Years back it would have been Muschamp learned his craft from LSU , or Miami Dolphins coach but today it is an Alabama coach that is the professor and Muschamp the pupil. Not near the delusion of Pat Dye was the reason for Coach Bryants success.
Don't know whether to be happy or sad for them. Makes me confused but I always feel as though they were waiting for the opportunity to tell me. Somebody says " Thanks, no coffee for me." Then they say " Yeah, it's been 6 months since I snorted cocaine." If you say WTF you are trapped so walk away saying " That's cool man."
Not really sounds as though he is a time bomb. Probably better to get rid of him than continuing letting him slide. Would not want him on my team! Poison!
How old are you? I remember those days and Bryant did not need Dye for anything other than a position coach. Truth is he taught Dye and Dye had to teach Auburn how to win. Just like Muschamp learned from Saban and now he goes to Auburn. To be so critical of Alabama you all sure snap up our coaches, Dye, Muschamp, Oliver , Johnson and Lance Thompson.? Alabama doesn't seem intrested in Auburn ex coaches.
Lets see Punt Bama Punt was followed with Auburn getting their arse whipped for 9 consective years. Then we sent you all Pat Dye to teach winning football to Auburn.

Kick 6 was followed by what? An arse kickin'. Bama wins are decisive not miracles from God or in some cases the officials.
Charlie will be D/C for what school next season?

Tennessee-Kentucky , Tennessee-Vanderbilt ( Tennessee rarely loses)

Missouri - Place any team here they don't belong.)
He knows he can manipulate the college game by running to the LOS then send in his plays keeping the defense from substituting. Chips teams actually hurry with quick snaps. He knows the NFL rules committee would shut him down.
I just don't believe we would survive another Bush in fact not sure we will survive tha last one.
He brought in top classes at LSU as well. Now now lttle brother quit making excuses. Gus a better coach than Saban? Don't know how you came to that delusion.
McElroy had 2 broke ribs. Never opened up the offense. I love revisionist history on this board.

Speaking of Ellis Johnson covering Cooper 1 on 1. I seem to remember Cooper going deep on Muschamp last year and not a player of Florida within 20 yards of him plus Kenyan Drake kind of torched him also.
I don't blame any team doing it . If they are going to allow an unfair advantage.to the offense? They would be stupid not to do it. Also. Make no mistake about it Malzahn brought that shite to the SEC. It proves his offense is not so creative when he is afraid to play chess with Saban.
Whoever does it , should be stopped that was not the intent of the rule . Auburn does it more than anybody, Oregon hurries but they snap it as soon as they are set.
If my memory serves me, I believe the country was better off with a Clinton rather than a Bush.
It's just a matter of time before even the NCAA begins to question how Auburn up tempo runs only 3 more plays per game than Alabama a slow methodical team. They will stop letting him use the up tempo as a tool to stop defenses from substituting. If you run to the line after a play you should have less time to snap the ball than a huddle tesm ( Yes, they would hsve to hire someone to detrrmine that every play)o hike the ball no more looking to the sidelines. When they stop this they will see what he is running is just an updated version of the wishbone.
" I would have thought the Texas job would have been a good fit for Gus..."

Rumor is if Bob Stoops has another 8-5 season the Oklahoma job will be open? I bet Gus leaves Auburn for oklahoma if offered, more tradition, Texas recruits.

Darn right they can. Republicans got their 'Fire at will' laws in the books and this is some of the BS that happens. He is a white male he can't be discriminated against. No joke in the work place a white male has no protection under law.
How many points did Chavis give up to Auburn last year?
