Miami taking Dante Culpepper instead of Drew Brees is the reason Saban is at Alabama.

What if Bobby Bowden came to Alabama and not Bill Curry

Not really. Shula would have still lost to Auburn and LSU with Tebow in 2006 resulting in an immediate termination following the regular season.

if prothro didn't get hurt Saban either doesn't ever get to bama or it's delayed 2 or 3 years.

That injury was gruesome.

Even with Prothro I think that we still lose the Auburn game that year.

And if we get past LSU and Auburn with an uninjured Prothro and make it through the SEC championship we were not going to the BCS title game. There was no way at that time that it was not going to be an undefeated Texas and USC. This was before recognition of SEC dominance.

Blame Urban for making TT go to UF. But according to Meyer, Jesus would frequently appear in Urban's and recruits dreams telling them to choose the right path and go to UF. By that logic blame Jesus for Saban being at Bama.

In an alternative universe, Paw is a woman. Therefore, it’s Tebow’s fault Paw is a woman. That’s about the same logic. There’s no guarantee he replicates the success at Bama under Shula that he did at Florida under Meyer. Saban could have still come in and had Tebow there to start his coaching career there. There are some major logical fallacies in Paw’s argument.

It wouldn't have made a bit of difference. Bama was fighting sanctions then. tebow might have won one more game. Hell, In 2007 Tebow lost to Auburn in Gainsville, LSU in Baton Rouge, UGA in Jacksonville and a Michigan squad in the bowl that had lost to App St. earlier in the year.

What if LSU would have hired a real coach instead of Les Miles after Saban left the stables full.

Yeah a REAL coach might have won over 100 games and a national championship.
