Ole Miss Is Now Pursuing Lane Kiffin For Their Head Coaching Position
© Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports
According to FootballScoop.com, Arkansas isn't the only SEC team looking to go into the head coaching business with FAU's Lane Kiffin...
quote:

“The whisper is that Ole Miss is now a major player in the pursuit of Lane Kiffin’s services,” Doug Samuels of Football Scoop said on Thursday morning. “Kiffin’s Owls play UAB Saturday at 1:30 ET for the Conference USA title. ‘Then things get interesting’ one source told FootballScoop.”
Whats the better job here?

He will bring some more interesting scenarios to the SEC like Nutt, Petrino and Tubberville. I say welcome to Oxford

If footballscoop says something will happen, that means it won’t happen. Footballscoop is only a good source to use if you believe the exact opposite of what they say. Well, really, Footballscoop just throws shite against the wall, and end up getting lucky and being right about 10% of the time.

Crazy how he continues to fail and lands a level higher.

There's probably no available coach out there that would strike any fear in me other than Kiffin. He could get either team to a bowl in 2 years. I think OM is less of a fixer upper and Arky is probably best for long term. I bet he would take OM because he eventually would want a better job.

I actually think this may be a good spot for Lane and I’m throwing this out right now but lookout for Frank Wilson possibly joining his staff if he’s given some type of coordinator role with Ole Miss... I think New Orleans area kids would go to Ole Miss before they go to Arkansas

Texas kids would go to Arky over OM so it's somewhat of a wash.

Surprised FSU didn’t jump all over him

Fsu does not want to win right away. They want to take a while and enjoy the sump they are in.

And I thought Ole Miss was looking forward to the end of sanctions.

Neither job is good for Lane kiffen. They are bad fit for him to get success as a head coach in the sec West. Arkansas is definitely better than ole Miss though. If I were him I would stick it out at Boca til a better school comes to where he can have success. He would get a beat down every year vs bama and LSU if he took either those teams.

Ole Miss currently has better athletes tho. Both have shitt for coaching staffs. Arkansas has no major competition in the state of Arkansas and is better area than ole Miss.

The better job? Maybe FAU. "Obviously, you've never been to Boca."
