LSU coach Lane Kiffin had some major praise for quarterback Sam Leavitt after Thursday's practice as the Tigers continue preparations for the season opener against Clemson.
Kiffin said LSU's offense has started to improve during fall camp and singled out Leavitt for two impressive throws he made during Thursday's practice.
With LSU's Sept. 5 matchup against Clemson approaching, Kiffin appears pleased with where his starting quarterback is heading into the final stretch of fall camp.
