I know it's surprising to some, but most of the event people have no idea what's going on game wise. All they know is at this time they will radio them to get out on the field and do their thing. Someone should have probably cancelled it but honestly it could have happened anywhere. It wasn't intended as anything disrespectful it's just the way the gameday experience is now. I'd rather we not even have tv timeouts and have the tv work around the game time instead of the game around the tv time.
