ESPN is looking for new ways to be relevant. So they've come up with ideas like broadcasting college football games in movie theaters. Hmm...

This is probably as big of a statement about the statement of the theater business as it is about the state of ESPN.

Too far of a walk to the pisser for me.
Rather be at home on the couch with a shorter walk to a private clean pisser.

If I’m going to pay stupid concession prices I’m doing it in the stadium.

Good luck with that. Fights, shootings, and all of the hood is going to show up. That I'll be a big NO from me. Won't take long to be shut down.

I guess the theaters can install some of those big trough urinals to accommodate the crowd.

Remember to wear your mask and show proof of (fake) vaccination or else you cannot attend. You must bend the knee to your unelected overlords.

I'm old enough to remember when ESPN shills had a meltdown b/c college kids might catch a cold at an outdoor stadium... and now they want to cram people into a confined indoor space just to make an extra buck.

I mean sure, could be a fun place for local alumni groups to host a family friendly watch party. Would still much rather be at a bar though.
